LG-300 is formed from 201 stainless steel, nickel plated with welded joints at every stress point: the handle-to-body connection, the mesh-to-frame seam and the hook or rest points that sit on the fry-well edge. In service the basket carries a wet, heavy load and is often hooked on one side to drain, so the joint nearest the handle sees the highest stress — we reinforce exactly those points rather than adding weight everywhere. Edges are deburred and the mesh is tensioned flat so product releases cleanly and oil drains back into the well instead of travelling to the counter.
